The beginning of new journey: Raya Aidiladha 2014

This year we celebrate Eidul Adha at the Malaysian Embassy. The hari raya was on the weekday, so asked my supervisor for 1 day leave. Fortunately he agreed. Yeayyy. hehe.

So early in the morning, we took pendeltåg (Commuter) from our apartment to Centralen. We met kak Hani in the train at Huddinge station. So off we go heee. The solat raya was scheduled to be at 9 o'clock in the morning. Therefore we left our home early. And the pendeltåg was full that morning because it was peak hours. People rushing to work. In Centralen, we need to change to tunnelbana (metro) to Stadion station. We missed the train like 3 times because the trains were full. At last we managed to hop in the 5th train.

Fortunately we arrived in the embassy just in time. The challenged begin when we wanted to change Khayr's clothes to baju melayu. Hahaha. En Kam asked me to put baju melayu for Khayr at home. But I insisted to change the baju melayu at the embassy. So served your right. Hahahaha. We chased him all around the embassy because he refused to wear baju melayu. NICE!! haha.
BUt finally taraaaa... hehe yup mom power!

The food were prepared by all the Malaysians. It was a potluck. So we brought the food and share with others. I cooked rendang ayam ala nogori style hahahaa. It was requested by En Kam. Memang every year kena masak. If I cooked other dishes, he will aksed me to cooked the rendang later. So to make my life easier, I just cooked the rendang ayam for him and for the potluck. Clever kan haha. Tapi boleh pulak lupa letak serai. aiyoooo. Even without serai pun,the rendang ayam finished. if with serai mesti tak cukup kan. kahkahkahkah. ok tak funny hahaha. Owh and i baked banana cake also. Terlebih rajin that morning. Semangat nak raya kot!
